Vicki D' Onofrio

vicki“Back in the 80’s when I was a teenager, I always wanted to be able to protect myself and was looking to do some kind of Martial Arts. I stumbled across Kim’s Tae Kwon Do at Ashfield and the rest is history. Little did I know at the time my Instructor Master Jeong Tae Kim was the first world Tae Kwon Do heavy- weight champion 1973.

I went on to win 6 national titles, 3 Bronze International Medals and have been teaching and passing on the skills of the art to children since retirement in 1996 from competition.”

pino1” Bruce Lee was my idol when I was growing up. At a young age, a friend of mine took me along to train with him at Kim’s Tae Kwon Do and fell in love with the art instantly. I attended classes every day and became obsessed with training and competing. I went on to win many state titles and 5 nationals. I represented Australia in 1993 at world Tae Kwon Do and Asian Championships where I also met my lovely wife, Vicki.”
